okay so it's not exactly a 'sight' but. HI ARE YOU DEAD/HAVE BEEN DEAD/DIED IN CAMP/DEATH IS YOUR FATHER???? Nico can sense anything death-related to the soul etc. so… I just need to know so Nico can properly glare at you once he picks it up. you're messing up the order of things stop it

He can only sense mortal souls, but it's up to you if this only pertains to human souls or not. MORTAL NON-HUMANS WHAT IS GOING ON It'd confuse Nico, that's for sure! If you don't want Nico sensing these things with your character COMMENT TOO it's cool

tl;dr if you're dead or have died or have deathsoul things or the grim reaper resides in your eyeballs, whispers come to me

Hoo boy, uhh. Thomas Barrow (unwinding) and Lincoln Lee (skepticalities) do not apply!

Elijah (this one!) is a bit of a doozy. He was human about a thousand years ago or so, and then his parents invoked witchcraft and other fun things and now he's an immortal vampire who can only die in a very specific manner. He still has a soul, presumably! It's all a bit odd in general.

and Cass Cain rhymeswithpain died once in canon, but I'm taking her from slightly before that. She did have a near death experience and hang out with her dead bestie for an issue.

Accelerator is human and got turned into a vampire in Camp for a couple weeks back in November of two years ago. A vampire shark bit him. I don't count it as an actual death since it was technically a camp effect, but it's worth noting. Probably a bizarre "not quite" ping?

Kamijou (nil_fortune)... has died on a metaphorical level? He lost all his memories after a magic feather destroyed a part of his brain. Also his right hand negates supernatural phenomena, so even if he were dead, I guess Nico wouldn't sense anything anyway.

Makoto (this guy)... is a little more interesting. SPOILERS for Persona 3?

SO, he's housed Death within him for ten years. In this case, Death is essentially the harbinger of the apocalypse, and takes the form of Thanatos, who in Greek mythology is the God of Death and son of Nyx, the Primordial Deity of the night. In Persona 3's case, Nyx is the one who allegedly introduced the concept of death to the world, and is capable of bringing absolute death to all living things in one fell swoop, which is essentially its entire function in the game: an unstoppable death bringer synonymous with the concept of death itself and comes in response to humanity's despair, malice and subconscious desire for death. ... So yeah, Makoto's had that sealed inside him for ten years. It's not there anymore, but it's left its mark, so-to-speak. Death is one of Makoto's primary Arcana, and Thanatos is one of his main Personas, which is basically a physical manifestation of his psyche. The Persona is in fact the solidified representation of his bond of friendship with Death.

Oh, also, he's dead now, 'cause he used up his life force to create a seal between Nyx and humanity's malice in order to keep them separate and stop the end of the world. Or rather, his soul itself IS the seal, but that's not really an issue in camp, I'm guessing.
