okay so it's not exactly a 'sight' but. HI ARE YOU DEAD/HAVE BEEN DEAD/DIED IN CAMP/DEATH IS YOUR FATHER???? Nico can sense anything death-related to the soul etc. so… I just need to know so Nico can properly glare at you once he picks it up. you're messing up the order of things stop it

He can only sense mortal souls, but it's up to you if this only pertains to human souls or not. MORTAL NON-HUMANS WHAT IS GOING ON It'd confuse Nico, that's for sure! If you don't want Nico sensing these things with your character COMMENT TOO it's cool

tl;dr if you're dead or have died or have deathsoul things or the grim reaper resides in your eyeballs, whispers come to me

Hi! So. Trahearne is not dead and never has been, and also not human and never has been, but he's a necromancer, so he may well ping Nico.

(Trahearne also may or may not be unable to die unless killed - we don't actually know if sylvari age or not. They're born as adults and he is literally the oldest one, at 24 years old, so, uh. We'll find out when he does whether or not he can die of natural causes, I guess. XD)

Haha. XD Yeah, in Trahearne's world, it's just... another kind of magic. Maybe a little gross (since, you know, he makes things like the flesh golem in the icon I used above) but a respectable occupation. More fantasy race than alien but I'm sure the Doctor would LOVE the sylvari all the same you should app him! >_> P.S. No one here will ever disenable an app just so you know.

Yeah that sounds pretty normal no yelling or being creeped out here. |D Sylvari are humanoid plants! They look like leafy, funny coloured humans on the outside, but the inside is totally different.

Awww. XD That's fine, Trahearne is a pretty lonely guy too. He's spent most of his life on his own in a dead country studying the bad kind of undead. Not a lot of company, and while he's a bit of a celebrity among his people in that he's one of the Firstborn, he's also considered very... odd because of his studies.

Hahahahaha actually that. Happened in canon. Trahearne's brother Malomedies was vivisected by scientists from another intelligent species of their world. Ah, asura. Mad scientists one and all. Malomedies did survive, but... :x

Most sylvari names are taken from Celtic and Welsh backgrounds, but yeah, some come from other places. Tyria is an entire different world, though, so it's unrelated. And haha, vivisection sounds worse because it specifically means that it happens while the subject is alive. Dissection is usually done to a corpse so that's the mental association; vivisection, on the other hand...
